5th February, Sunday: Falmouth Town Mayors Civic Service
Parade forms on The Moor leaving at 3.30p.m. and proceed to the KCM Parish Church for a service at 4.00p.m.  Following the service the parade reforms and makes its way to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.

March

4th & 5th March, Thursday: St. Pirans Day
Piran is the patron saint of Cornwall and various celebrations take place all over the county. 
Main events on the 4th in Bodmin, on the 5th in Redruth

17th - 18th March, weekend: Glorious Gold Daffodil Weekend at Trelissick Gardens 
Normal admission charges apply of £6.60 per adult and £3.30 per child.
17th – 25th March, week:  Falmouth Spring Festival,
Falmouth's newest festival, with guided walks, talk, tours, garden spring clean events, Gardeners Questions Time, all aimed at celebrating Falmouth's beautiful open spaces.

18th March, Sunday: Run Falmouth
new Half Marathon event, starting 9.30a.m. a 13.1 mile run starting and returning to The Moor, also a Run Falmouth Fun Run for people of all ages – a 1.5 mile run starting 10.00a.m.
26th March – 6th May: Music Truro
'Music Truro' - Truro's annual music festival - a full programme of performances and music related events and activities with various classes and concerts throughout the town.
31st March & 1st April, weekend: 100th Spring Flower Show, Boconnoc in Lostwithiel
An annual event which showcases the best of Cornwall's plants and flowers. There will be horticultural stands, botanical displays, competitive classes and a Cornish food marquee.
31st March - 7th April: Isles of Scilly Walking Festival
Walk Scilly 2012: guided walks, presentations, talks and a special dinner and dance.
31st March - 8th April, week: St Endellion Easter Music Festival
The St Endellion Easter Festival will feature performances of Mozart’s Requiem, Bach’s Easter Oratorio, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and other treats.

April

Make art accessible to all: explore new art ideas and ventures in Cornwall's capital.
7th - 9th April, weekend: Aberfest in Falmouth
Celebration of all things Cornish and Breton with free public events on The Moor, Events Square, the Art Gallery and other locations around Falmouth. There will also be a Grand Procession of Musicians and Dancers through Church Street and Arwenack Street.
21st & 22nd April, weekend: Porthleven Food and Music festival
All day music performances on stage.

This is the annual festival held in Fowey that celebrates the author's life and works. There will be talks, plays and guided walks.
13th – 18th May,week: Finn Gold Cup & Open Nationals
Up to 100 single-handed, cat –rigged dinghies from as many as 50 nations racing. RCYC the Bay and around town
19th May, Saturday: Olympic Torch Relay
The 1st day of the Olympic Torch Relay 2012 will see the Flame carried through Falmouth.
19th – 20th May, weekend: Falmouth Mazda MX5 Rally
from and at Pendennis Castle 4 scenic coastal drives and exciting rally programme.
25th May – 2nd June, week: Greenbank Fal River Festival
Now in its 7th year, a ten day festival to celebrate life on the River Fal featuring Music, Drama, Arts, Craft, Food and Drink  at various locations in Falmouth and the surrounding district. Opening ceremony Friday 1st June

1st – 4th June, Bank Holiday weekend: Run to the Sun Festival
This is the annual Custom Car and VW festival that is held in Newquay over three days.

5th June, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
7th - 9th June: Royal Cornwall Show
This is a three day event that showcases the best that Cornwall has to offer in farming, food, livestock and much more. Held at the Royal Cornwall Show Ground in Wadebridge. 
15th – 17th June, weekend: Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival
Featuring groups from all over the UK and abroad at various locations around the town raising money for the RNLI and other Charities.Falmouth Shout,
16th – 23rd June, week: Polperro Festival and Lights

This is the annual celebration in Polperro which includes dances, art and music.
16th June, Sunday: Murdoch Day
Redruth's annual celebration of its most famous citizen, inventor William Murdoch. The programme of events includes children's dance and art procession, all day music and entertainment, street market, old tyme fair and much more.
16th - 24th June, week: Golowan Festival and Mazey Day
This is the annual celebration in Penzance of Golowan which is Cornish for midsummer or the Feast of St. John. It is one of Cornwall's largest art festivals which includes street theatre and story telling. The week culminates in Mazey day which is Cornish for dazed and confused!
17th June, Sunday: Falmouth Triathlon Event
An open water, short course event from Gyllyngvase Beach comprising of a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.
21st – 22nd June, Thursday/Friday:  Round Britain 2012
A unique marathon event featuring 50 cars, 50 boats and 50 aircraft competing simultaneously against others in their discipline over 10 gruelling legs.
24th – 30th June, week: Mevagissy Feast Week
Fish festival, dates back to 1754: live music events, processions, dancing, choral events, fishing boat race, raft craft, mini triathlon, fete, carnival, spectacular firework display.
26th – 30th June, week: Falmouth ‘J’ Class Regatta
Hosted by RCYC the opening event in a series of regattas. This is the first time in history that more than 4 of these imposing yachts have raced together in a fleet.
Date TBC June, week: Cornwall Open Studios
Artists from across Cornwall will be throwing open their doors to the public as part of the county’s increasingly popular Open Studios scheme.

July

2nd – 7th July, week: Falmouth Pendennis Cup
The 3rd edition of the Pendennis Cup taking place during the Olympic year. 14 yachts confirmed to date.  4 day event programme and a full entertainment Programme.
13th – 21st July, 2 weeks: Lafrowda Festival
Lafrowda Festival is a two-week celebration of entertainment and the arts in St Just. There is something for everyone, from ballroom dancing to stiltwalking, with no excuse for not joining in! Lafrowda Day is on 21st July.
15th July, Sunday:  Falmouth Sea Sunday
An important date in the Civic calendar that recognises the Towns rich Maritime traditions and in particular the strong naval links. The parade consisting of the Royal Naval Association, Standard Bearers, Town Councillors and other organisations march from The Moor to the Parish Church for a Service then reforms following the service and marches to the National Maritime Museum via the sailing base alongside Trago Mills.

31st July - 10th Aug, week: St Endellion Summer Music Festival
The St Endellion Summer Festival - held every August in the lovely old church at St Endellion near Port Isaac
28th July – 3rd Aug, week: Charlestown Regatta Week
Charlestown Regatta Week (nr St Austell) includes watersports, games and entertainment. The events raise funds for the people of the village of Charlestown, including the provision of children's equipment in the Regatta Playing Field.
30th July - 5th Aug, week: Padstow Carnival Week
A carnival celebration with music, quizzes and other activities.
Date TBC July, Sunday: Cornish Dragon Boat Challenge
Corporate and individual teams of competitors battle for the prestigious title of fastest Dragon boat. Events Square/Falmouth Harbour

August

3rd - 5th Aug, weekend: Wadebridge Folk festival
Lots of live music and entertainment
11th – 19th Aug, week: Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week
Sailing Regatta and many entertaining events in the town. Carnival on Monday, Red Arrow Display on Wednesday, Fireworks on Friday, Triathlon on Sunday
17th – 19th Aug, weekend: West of England Steam Rally
Stithians, Largest steam rally in the South West with over 50 full size steam engines plus stationary and scale steam engines, old time fairground, a large selection of vintage vehicles andmoror cycles, stationary engines, heavy horses and more.
19th - 25th Aug, week: Fowey Regatta
An annual celebration of all things maritime with sailing, races and other activities like fireworks, carnival and live music. Red Arrow display on Thursday.
27th Aug, Monday: Newlyn Fish Festival
This is a celebration of Cornwall's fishing industry in the surroundings of Newlyn Harbour. There will be cookery demonstrations, a wide selection of seafood and fish auctions as well as music, entertainment and activities on the water.
Date TBC August: Pink Wig Party/Day
If the whole town looks pink one Saturday this year, don't worry, you won’t be seeing things! It will be a 'Paint the Town Pink' day and a 'Pink Wig Girls Night Out' in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign.

September

2nd Sept, Sunday: World Bellyboard Championships
Chapel Porth, St Agnes, A very simple, back-to-basics comp – no wetsuits, no leashes and no swim fins. A bit of wood and a swimsuit is all you need, you don’t even need to bring money as the entry fee is free although a donation would be massively appreciated!
6th – 9th Sept, weekend: Heritage Open Days
Heritage Open Days celebrates England's fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.
8th Sept, Saturday: Shoreline Quadrathlon 2012
The Awesome Foursome Quadrathlon, held in Bude, has become one of the major events in the UK this year becomes the UK's World Cup Event. Competitors from across the UK and Europe descend on North Cornwall.
8th – 16th Sept, week: Arts Festival Falmouth
Fantastic new event celebrating the creative spirit in Falmouth
8th - 22nd Sept, fortnight: St. Ives Festival
A weeklong celebration of the art world. There will be music, exhibitions, poetry and talks.
15th – 23rd Sept. week: South East Cornwall Walking Festival
Celebrating its 11th Anniversary this year, the walking festival (previously known as the Looe Valley Walking Festival) is once again extended this year to take in two weekends.

The annual festival is showcasing the best food and drink that Cornwall has to offer. Held in Truro on Lemon Quay.

5 mile sponsored walk for Ladies through Falmouth followed by a Candle lit ceremony on The Moor.  Raising money for Children’s Hospice  

October

3rd Oct, Wednesday: Callington Honey Fair
Callington Honey Fair has become one of the largest street fairs in Cornwall, with hundreds of people visiting the town to enjoy the friendly and community-based fair. In fact, Callington is the only town in Cornwall which still retains a Honey Fair.
5th Oct, Friday: Falmouth’s around the world day
Carrying on from the 350 celebrations in 2011 this is an opportunity to continue  links with other Falmouth’s around the world.
6th & 7th Oct, weekend: Boscastle Food, Arts & Crafts Festival
Festival with lashings of fresh food, harbour fun and evening frolics. See local Chefs demonstrating and visit stalls where producers will be selling their food, arts and crafts.
11th - 14th Oct, long weekend: Falmouth Oyster Festival
Celebrate the opening of the Oyster season. Three days of cooking demonstrations, events and trade stalls, lots to entertain. DiscoveryQuay.
17th – 21st Oct, weekend: Lowender Peran Festival
Perranporth, Lowender Peran is an annual festival celebrating Cornwall's Celtic connections.
26th & 27th Oct, weekend: Falmouth Beer Festival
Princess Pavilion: Try a hose of real cask ales and ciders at this year’s CAMRA event. 
Around 200 ales, ciders and perries to choose from.
Date TBC Oct/Nov, week: Fal Autumn Walking Festival
Discover the wonderful walks around the River Fal and surrounding areas and links with ferries, Local pubs, attractions and gardens.

November

8th - 11th Nov, weekend: Cornwall Film Festival
A three day event which celebrates the best of Cornish and International film making. 
10th Nov, Saturday: Falmouth St Nazaire
Annual memorial service held at Prince of Wales Pier for the veterans of the St. Nazaire raid.
11th Nov, Sunday: Falmouth Remembrance Parade
Annual memorial service held at Prince of Wales Pier for the veterans of the St. Nazaire raid.
Date TBC Nov, Wednesday: City of Lights Parade in Truro
This is an annual procession through the town which also incorporates the Christmas lights being switched on. It also marks the start of late night shopping and there is a firework display on Lemon Quay.
29th Nov, Thursday: Falmouth Christmas Lights Switch & Parade

December

7th -9th Dec, weekend: Padstow Christmas Festival
Promising an array of seasonal treats including Christmas lights and decorations, Santa’s grotto, fireworks, seasonal food, festive demonstrations and late night shopping.
8 – 15 Dec, week: Falmouth Cornwall Hospice Santa Run
A fun event featuring ‘Santas’ running or walking through town, commencing The Moor (registration Falmouth Methodist Church) 1pm.
16th – 21st Dec, week: Montol Festival
The Penzance Montol Festival is a 6-day arts and community festival based on the Cornish Christmas and Midwinter traditions of the past, culminating in Montol Eve on the 21st December.
24thDec, Monday: Harmony Choir
Commencing at the Watersports Centre and proceeding through the town stopping at Church Corner, Nat West Bank, end of Market Street /Market Strand and finishing up on The Moor.
