Spring is here
Today we went to our much loved Trebah Gardens for a sneaky peak of Spring. If you want to come to see the flowers and colors of our Cornish Gardens, do it soon as spring is here.
We are often asked, when is the best time to come and see the spring gardens down in Cornwall. No two years are the same as obviously a lot depends on the weather conditions. Due to the Atlantic Gulf stream we very rarely see any snow and little frost especially around the coastal areas. Indeed, many of our gardens have their own micro climate which causes that early flush of color. From early February onwards we find Snow drops, many varieties of Camellias and Rhododendrons. The pictures below taken today Sunday the 4th February are just a sample of much more to come.
