FRIDAY 12th – 14TH JUNE 2026
The largest free maritime music festival on the planet! Shanty bands and singers from across the UK and Europe converge on Falmouth, bringing a wonderfully diverse range of shanties performed on stages throughout the town.  Money raised will go to the RNLI.

Building on the success of expanding to a three-day event, Falmouth Classics have now been able to bring the competitors together in one area in close proximity to the Sea Shanty Festival. Thanks to National Ventilation and Airtech Environmental Systems together with Falmouth Harbour Commissioners, berthing will be free for visiting competitors, putting Falmouth in the top league alongside other major classic regattas.

Held on the large showground between Truro and Helston where thousands descend to enjoy musical entertainment, food courts, craft stalls, a fairground, and animals of all sorts including rare breeds, a dog show and dog agility competitions.

Venue: On the water and various locations around the town. Six days of match racing for keelboats, traditional craft and dinghies in the waters off Falmouth Bay, the Carrick Roads and the harbour. Wednesday is Champagne Day, a race for the big yachts with a 25-mile coastal course finishing in the inner harbour, whilst smaller boats race in the Carrick Roads. On the shore there are activities to keep everyone entertained from the fantastic Red Arrows display (TBC) and themed party nights to samba and the Action Sports Tour Bike Show. In Events Square there are daytime events such as Science in The Square by the University of Exeter, while in the evening you’ll find a great line up of music acts. The annual festival is showcasing the best food and drink that Cornwall has to offer. Held in Truro on Lemon Quay.

The highlight of Falmouth’s Autumn calendar is this nationally recognised, award-winning annual festival which celebrates the start of the oyster dredging season. Including an oyster bar, a wide variety of seafood, wines and champagne, real ales and stouts, arts, crafts, food and drink halls, chef demos and all that is best in Cornish musical entertainment.
